When you pay to have your racquet restrung, you should expect professional, consistent results. You should also expect your stringer to utilize industry proven, best in class technology.
All racquets are restrung on a state of the art 2022 Tecnifibre Ergo One professional grade stringing machine, the same machine that the Tecnifibre Official Stringing Team uses at ATP/WTA tournaments in Miami, Washington DC, and throughout Europe. It has the sturdiest 6-point mounting system of its class, a cast iron 360-degree turntable, and a linear electronic constant pull tensioning system. Its glide rails and clamps are among the smoothest and most reliable across the industry.
We verify the calibration of the Ergo One on a weekly basis to ensure consistent stringbed tension on all racquets.
We measure the finished stringbed tension of every racquet using an ERT300 Tennis Computer before it leaves the shop. Unlike spring loaded testers or downloadable apps which offer variable results at best, the ERT 300 uses harmonics to simulate ball impact at the center of the racquet's stringbed. The result is a Dynamic Tension (DT) measurement that has been considered the industry standard for decades. Your racquet's DT is tracked in our stringing database to further ensure consistent results every time you visit.
The Head 3-in-1 Racquet Tuning Station is the latest precision technology added to the CCS workshop. This device measures a racquet's static weight, balance, and most importantly swingweight, a measure of how a racquet feels when a player takes a swing. Downloadable swingweight apps require measuring the length of the racquet, determining the pivot point, intricate setup, specific camera placement, and lots of trial and error. The Head 3-in-1 eliminates all of those variables to provide the most accurate swingweight measurement possible while customizing racquets and matching multiple racquets. You cannot improve what you don't measure!
